A polyglot and intuitive tennis entrepreneur, Bastien is married to his childhood sweetheart Monique and is a father of three boys. He believes deeply in the transformative power of sport, shaping both his life values and entrepreneurial vision.

Experience

A tennis coaching visionary, Bastien has built some of the world’s most successful academies through his dedication to player development. His entrepreneurial drive led to groundbreaking projects, including founding the first international tennis academy in Beijing with former world No. 1 Justine Henin and revolutionizing high-performance training in Hong Kong alongside French Open champions Luis and Sergi Bruguera. Through The One Academy, he hosts elite events across Asia and established the first tennis academy within a Japanese boarding school (Harrow International). Most notably, his expansions include Hong Kong’s first Padel & Pickleball Academy at Go Park in 2024, cementing his legacy as a pioneer in sports development.

Brian Klaassen Head of The One Academy Asia

A Dutch sports entrepreneur, Brian shifted from elite junior tennis to pioneering padel and pickleball growth across Europe and Asia.

Experience

Brian's influence has been pivotal in propelling the exponential growth of Padel in the Netherlands, partnering with premier clubs to bolster their success before earning Padel certifications in Sweden. He later had the opportunity to train and compete with some of the top pickleball coaches in Naples, Florida—the home of the US Open Pickleball—adding an exciting new dimension to his already diverse sporting competences.

His international experiences span vibrant cities such as Amsterdam, Dubai, and Hong Kong, enriching his understanding of varied business cultures and sports markets, particularly within the Padel and pickleball domains. With a Master’s degree in Organisational Management, he merges business strategy with sports development, now leading The One Academy’s Hong Kong hub to cultivate future Olympians.

Rayco Ramses Head Coach Padel Hong Kong

Rayco Ramsés Ramirez de la Nuez was born in Gran Canaria and has spent his life in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). With a lifelong passion for sports—including football, basketball, karate, and running—he discovered padel nearly 17 years ago and quickly fell in love with the game. He competed for several years while working at a padel club, and later completed his coaching certification through the Spanish Padel Federation. He began teaching over eight years ago, gaining experience across multiple clubs and also working independently.

Experience

Throughout his coaching career, Rayco has worked with several island competition teams, helping them qualify for finals. Seeking to expand his horizons internationally, he moved to Saudi Arabia a year ago to work as a padel coach. After returning home, he was presented with a new opportunity and is now continuing his coaching journey in Hong Kong with The One Padel Academy.

Robert Moore Padel Coach Hong Kong

Born and raised in Hong Kong, Rob is a passionate and multilingual padel coach fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. As a former competitive tennis player and team captain in the HKCTA league, he brings a strategic, adaptable approach to coaching.

Experience

Rob’s competitive pedigree includes winning the China Padel Tour’s CPT-250 Chengdu and holding Hong Kong’s #2 FIP ranking. Certified as a PadelMBA Coach and PadelMBA Coach plus, he merges tennis tactics with modern padel techniques to elevate players of all levels. His international tournament experience and supportive coaching style make him a standout mentor in Hong Kong’s growing padel scene.

Nikhel Narwani Padel Coach Hong Kong

A Hong Kong native, Nik transitioned from 8 years as a football coach to mastering padel and pickleball, rapidly ascending Asia’s competitive ranks. 

Experience

Nik’s APPT Shenzhen Open amateur finalist finish and top-20 Hong Kong ranking reflect his competitive drive. His football background enriches his coaching, blending group dynamics with tailored skill development to empower players across multiple sports. By incorporating innovative techniques and promoting self-reflection, Nik empowers players to take ownership of their development, enhancing their confidence and performance across multiple sports.

Emily Young Tennis Coach Hong Kong

Originally from Yorkshire, England, Emily began playing tennis at the age of 5 and developed through the LTA high-performance pathway, training at elite centers while competing nationally and internationally. She earned a full athletic scholarship to Newman University in the United States, where she played #1 singles and doubles, and later completed her MBA at Tiffin University, contributing both as a player and assistant coach while gaining valuable experience in athlete development.

Experience

She has since coached across the U.S., including at country clubs throughout New England, working with players of all ages and levels. After university, she became Assistant Court Tennis and Tennis Professional at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where she also competed professionally and rose to become the #1 ranked female court tennis player in the United States. She has further expanded her international experience with a coaching stint in Japan and now in Hong Kong, where she continues to bring energy, expertise, and a global perspective to developing players and growing the game.

Oscar Leung Tennis Coach Hong Kong

Experience

Oscar was born in the UK and raised in Hong Kong, developed a strong foundation in tennis from a young age. As a competitive junior, he achieved notable results including 1st runner-up in local junior series tournaments, a Top 10 ranking in junior doubles in Hong Kong, and a second-place finish in interschool competitions.

With over 12 years of coaching experience, Oscar has built a solid reputation in player development, including 8 years coaching under the prestigious Bruguera Tennis Academy. His background combines competitive experience with high-level training, allowing him to effectively guide players across different levels of the game.

Ivan Ng Senior Pickleball Coach Hong Kong

A former Professional Tennis Registry-certified instructor, Ivan discovered pickleball in 2023 and was immediately captivated by its unique social and competitive appeal. His passion for racquet sports now fuels his dedication to growing pickleball in Hong Kong.

Experience

As a Level 1 Certified Coach (PPR USA & HKPA), Ivan combines technical expertise with a player-centric approach. He represented Hong Kong at the 2024 Huntsman World Senior Games, winning a mixed doubles bronze medal and finishing #4 in men's doubles. Specializing in beginner and intermediate development, Ivan thrives on sharing cutting-edge techniques while fostering a collaborative training environment. His competitive experience and teaching background make him an ideal guide for players embarking on their pickleball journey.

Victor Ng Pickleball Coach Hong Kong

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Victor brings over 30 years of competitive athletic experience across multiple disciplines. His background as a secondary school table tennis team member and veteran football player has shaped his coaching philosophy around teamwork and strategic development.

Experience

Victor captained football teams for decades, earning second runner-up at Hong Kong's 2010 Corporate Games while mentoring youth as an assistant coach for U9 and U13 teams. Transitioning to pickleball, he earned his Level 1 Coaching Certification from the Pickleball Association of Hong Kong, China. His training sessions emphasize skill refinement and tactical gameplay, blending insights from his diverse sports background to create dynamic learning experiences.
